#SAT/ACT Testing

On Saturday, many students experienced a technical issue with the March SAT. While College Board hasn’t provided 100% transparency about what happened, we know that many students had their test results submitted automatically before finishing, and others were logged out of the Bluebook application and lost time due to that. This is immensely frustrating for the students who worked so hard to be prepared for this test date.

Below is an image of the email sent by the College Board to coordinators of affected test sites. Check the email associated with your student’s College Board account to see if they received an email that they were impacted.

College Board is offering three methods of recourse:

  • Offering students the opportunity to cancel their scores (the decision needs to be made before seeing the scores)
  • Refunding students’ registration fees
  • Providing a voucher for a make-up test date on 3/22 (if offered by your testing location).

If your student was affected by the issue, please contact us so we can work with you to update your student’s testing plan.

Our hearts go out to the students who were affected. While there is never a good time for something like this, the spring of junior year is the last time students need an extra stressor.
